MenoPower — the new intermediate strength class for women in midlife

New intermediate level strength training class for women in perimenopause and menopause.

Are you navigating the changes of perimenopause or menopause and looking for an exercise class designed to support your body and mind?

My new four-week MenoPower strength training course is designed exclusively for women like you — because your body deserves a programme that meets it where it is, not where it used to be.

What is MenoPower?

This is an intermediate level four-week strength training class specifically designed for peri- and menopausal women. The exercise class blends kettlebells and bodyweight training to support metabolism, bone health, balance, strength and vitality through perimenopause and beyond. Each week you will learn exercises you can take home and easily weave into your fitness routine. The course will launch on Monday, January 12, 2026.

Why strength training is important for menopause

During menopause, oestrogen levels naturally decline and your body goes through significant changes — including increased risk of bone density loss, muscle loss (sarcopenia), weight gain, fatigue and joint pain. But strength training is one of the most effective, evidence-based ways to combat these changes and feel stronger, more energised and back in control.

Benefits of the class

Boost mood and reduce stress levels

Strength training has been and scientifically proven to ease menopause symptoms, from reducing anxiety and stress, and increasing mood and mental clarity.

Build lean muscle and boost metabolism

Targeted resistance training helps build and maintain lean muscle, which naturally decliines during midlife. It also boosts metabolism, meaning you burn more calories even after your workout so it can aid fat loss and improve body composition.

Stronger bones

Weight-bearing exercises are key to preventing bone loss and reducing the risk of osteoporosis, a condition that women in perimenopause and menopause are more at risk of.

Improve sleep quality and energy levels

Regular exercise can improve sleep quality - something that is often disrupted during this transitional time.

Physical activity has been shown to improve energy levels because it increases blood flow, delivering more oxygen and nutrients to your cells. This in turn releases those feel-good hormones endorphins that boost mood and help to fight fatigue. When you exercise regularly it also strengthens the heart and lungs, and this makes daily chores feel less tiring.

Feel supported in a friendly, like-minded community

Train alongside women who understand what you’re going through. No judgment — just support, empowerment, and progress at your own pace.

Expertly designed for hormonal shifts
