As a female personal trainer based in Oxford, I specialise in creating realistic, enjoyable exercise programmes that fit around busy lives. Together, we'll build healthy habits you can stick to, so you can feel stronger, move better and have more energy—not just for a few weeks, but for life.

Every programme is tailored to your goals, fitness level and lifestyle. Whether you're new to exercise, returning after a break, training for an event or looking to stay active as you get older, you'll receive expert coaching, encouragement and accountability every step of the way.

I have a particular passion for helping women through perimenopause and menopause with strength training that supports building muscle, improving bone health, balance and mood. I also specialise in helping older adults increase mobility, confidence and independence, making everyday activities easier and reducing the risk of falls.

Choose from one-to-one personal training, small group sessions, online coaching, personalised home workout plans or one of my my specialist classes, including MenoFitness and Stretch & Strengthen chair workouts. MENOFIT SUMMER STRONG

  • MENOFIT SUMMER STRONG

    MenoFit Summer Strong is a five-week exercise series designed to help you stay strong, energised, and consistent over the school holidays.

    These 30-minute classes will run every Thursday at 9-9:30am from July 23 to 20 August in the Gill Garratt room in South Oxford Community Centre (OX1 4XA).

    Booking essential: £50 for the five-week block. No rollovers or credits for missed sessions. Please email Hello@MaddyPT.co.uk with your contact details once you’ve paid so I can add you to the class list.

  • MENOSTRENGTH

    MenoStrength is a weekly strength training course for peri and menopausal women. It’s beginner friendly, with all equipment provided.

    The class runs every Tuesday (term time) from 9-9:30am in the Gill Garratt room in South Oxford Community Centre, Lake Street (OX1 4XA).

    Manage peri/meno symptoms with safe and effective weight lifting. We use bodyweight, dumbbell, kettlebells and resistance bands to build strength and boost bone health.

    £10 drop in. Spaces are limited to keep the group personal and supportive.

  • MENOCORE

    A weekly core strength training exercise class combining targeted abdominal and deep pelvic floor work to rebuild stability, confidence and total-body strength.

    The class runs every Wednesday during term time at 9-9:30am in the Gill Garratt room in South Oxford Community Centre, Lake Street (OX1 4XA).

    Drop in price £10 per class.

    Spaces are limited to keep the class personal and supportive.

  • FIT FOR LIFE

    Fit for Life is a chair-based fitness class funded by Sport England, and supported by SOCA.

    The class runs every Tuesday from 10-10:30am (term time) in the Gill Garratt Room in South Oxford Community Centre, Lake Street (OX1 4RP).

    We do bodyweight and resistance band exercises during this low impact 30-minute class. Then enjoy a free hot drink and cake in the Community Cafe afterwards.

    £1 per class (subsidised / funded by Sport England).

  • CIRCUITS CLUB

    Circuits Club is a fun and fast paced exercise class, every Friday, 9-10am (during term time).

    We do a variety of exercises using free weights, resistance bands, Pilates balls, skipping ropes and wobble boards! Equipment is provided but you can bring your own mat.

    The 60-minute class is held in the Gill Garratt Room in South Oxford Community Centre, Lake Street (OX1 4RP).

    Suitable for all fitness abilities.

    £12 per class.

  • STRETCH & STRENGTHEN

    Stretch & Strengthen is a seated exercise class designed to improve mobility, core stability and balance.

    We do a mix of resistance band exercises using our bodyweight and bands.

    This low impact 30-minute class is funded by CIC Waste2Taste. It runs twice a week - Mondays and Thursdays, both at 10:30-11am (term time) at Shotover View, Craufurd Road, Oxford (OX4 2SQ).

    Free class (funded by Waste2Taste and Sport England).
